Director and producer Areta Lloyd has a background in television and independent production experience, from hard news to documentaries. She also has ten years of experience in public relations and marketing in New York, Toronto and Kuala Lumpur. Her expertise in interviewing, research and writing, as well as marketing, public, and media relations all contribute to her holistic approach to directing and producing. Areta firmly believes that the message must fit the medium and she is proficient in communicating via television, Internet, mobile technology and print.

Known for her highly creative and personable approach, Areta has also developed a net of talented professionals, such as composers, cinematographers and editors, who lend their complementary skills to Oyster Media productions.
